If so, join us in learning about no-till growing. Also known as no-dig, this low impact growing method aims to reduce or completely remove tillage from the gardening process. Learn ways to feed and improve the ecosystem within your soil with simple, sustainable techniques like mulching, cover-cropping, and hand-tool cultivation. We will explain how no-till gardening can reduce labour, weed pressure, and water usage while increasing your garden’s productivity.

Stevia is a natural herb sweetener and sugar substitute. This shrub is native to South America being use as sweetener and as medicine. In Canada is treated as an annual being propagated by seeds or cuttings. 

In this workshop, you will learn:
*How to sow seeds indoors;
*How to transplant them;
*How to grow by stem cuttings;
*How to care for the plant during the growing season (outdoors and greenhouse);
*How to harvest and dry;
*How to use.
